The Inn on Ferry Street combines five historic houses and one carriage barn into a forty-two room bed and breakfast style inn. Elisabeth Knibbe Architects (EKA) created a project that respects the historic character of these houses while providing the amenities expected by today's traveler.

EKA developed a strategy to meet current code and hotel requirements while restoring much of the historic character of the exterior of the houses and retaining much of the remaining interior character and detailing.
