Murray Aviation is a tenant at Willow Run Airport in Hanger 1, a one-half mile long hanger that was constructed to serve the Willow Run Bomber Plant in World War II.

Elisabeth Knibbe Architects designed a contemporary office suite that contrasts high-quality interior finishes with the industrial character of the underlying space. Interior window walls echo the configuration of the restored exterior windows while defining the executive offices. These windows are repeated in a set of windows that overlook the adjacent air plane hanger. The ceilings are opened to the underside of the original construction with exposed piping and ducts. Custom cabinetry provides service space for a conference room with built-in refrigerator, dish washer and hidden cabinets.
